Intro

Hi, I'm Kelly Murphy.
I am a junior at Clemson University, and am on the Women's Rowing team. I absolutely LOVE Clemson, although it did take me a little while to get here. After graduating from high school, I attended the University of Connecticut for a year and a half before I transferred to Clemson. I transferred because of the difference in the rowing programs, and also just because I was not happy at UConn--picture a more "middle-of-nowhere" town than Clemson with nothing to do, and add freezing cold weather--it just wasn't for me. BUT I finally made it to Clemson, and I couldn't be happier!
I am from Berwyn, Pa, just outside of Philadelphia, and I love just about everything that has to do with Philly. The summer after I graduated high school ('06), my family moved to Marietta, Ga, so that's where I go on most of my breaks from school, but I don't really know anyone in that area (except my roommate, which was a huge coincidence...).
I have a huge family. I am the second oldest of seven children and I am really close with all my siblings. If you have ever seen the show "7th Heaven" you may be interested to know that the order of boys and girls in my family is exactly the same as the show--even down to twin boys as the youngest--weird, I know. (but don't be fooled, we are nothing like the Camdens...)
So, in a nut shell, I am a very family oriented person who loves hanging out with friends and having fun. I love being outside and abosolutely love to laugh.
